It sure looks that way--they've hailed from Texas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Alabama.
So I'm just curious:
If you lived in Alabama a few years ago and were looking for some weekend entertainment, and Ruben Studdard, Bo Bice, and Taylor Hicks were all playing in your town, who'd you plunk your money down to see? |

I never thought Ruben was that talented. He was mainly just a big teddy bear that everyone just loved to love. I'm not into the rock scene, so Bo would go on without me. I really like Taylor, though. Seems like he knows which songs are him and he enjoys every note. That transfers to me and I can feel his emotion. |

I think Ruben has more warmth and tone, but Taylor would be a much better entertainer.
And I would dump them all in a heartbeat to go see Kelly Clarkson. |

Southerners should win. Everything. All the time.
I don't know the other idols. This is my first season to watch the show. But, I would pay to see Taylor. Not $100, but up to $25.
