So who else was at the theater this weekend for X-Men 3?

Yummmmmmmmm, Wolveriiiiiiiiiine.

ahem. Um, so anyway....

What did y'all think? I loved the conclusion to the Jean Grey storyline.

I hated the death of Xavier.

I sensed, with my stealth ESP, a sequel hint in the ending with Magneto in the park.

and Rogue, giving up her power for a boy? Bah.

Anyone want to chime in?

Everything else: bleah.

#2 proclaimed it the best movie ever. He always says that. Except about CAsa Blanca. Shows what he knows.

Cool special FX, though.

Normy and I saw it this weekend. We enjoyed it but thought in general that it would have been better with fewer explosions and more character exposition. They wiped out six major mutant characters through death or change by the end of it but I have a feeling those are all only temporary transitions. You need to sit through all of the credits to get a foreshadowing on Xavier and Jean Grey and Magneto starting to get his powers back leads me to believe Rogue and Mystique will have theirs back shortly as well. We never see Cyclops actually die so who knows where he is.
