We have been watching this one together. I get a kick out of some of the bad dancers. They give me hope. My little girls enjoy this too. They like to try some of the moves.
Anybody else watching?

Yep, sure am. On DVR of course - honey hates this one more than Idol, although he can be coaxed into the living room for dancers who are both cute and half nekkid.

The guys that street dance are my favorite. Classical training is hard, and technique is good, and I danced ballet, jazz, etc from 3 - 15 so I should appreciate it more, BUT... street dancers, poppers, trick dancers, breakers - WAY more exciting to watch.  |

I havne't seen it. G controls the remote. When is it on? I can always watch in the bedroom. Once I'm done painting and all.

I AM going to watch it this summer! I meant to watch it all last summer, but kept missing it and forgetting to tape it - and ironically, I always missed it because I was at dance lessons.
No dance lessons this summer, so maybe I've got a chance.

It's on... my TiVo. Um.... shit. Once the Pass is set I tend to forget and then just look for what's been recorded. Am I lame or what...
I think W or Th at 8. Or maybe just W, but was on both because they were in audition week last week....

Barf girl. Was walking up to the judges area in the front of the stage and just, HURLED. She tried to hold it back by her hand, which she apparantly thought had magic powers over barf. That bought her a few seconds, enough to make it to the side of stage (and closer to the judges' line of sight) so that everyone could get a nice, clear view of the barf strings. Yum.

Oh Oh! and stalker girl did, um, tap, I think. She was quite plump, and spent a great deal of time explaining the importance of "facials" and "hands" to the camera guy before she went on (foreshadowing, anyone?). then, when she got out there she had one facial, and one only - it practically screamed "I know where you sleep, judge boy! And I will grind your face in with my shiny, shiny tap shoes". Priceless. |

Holy crap! did you see the Charleston girl dancing through her injury!? And doing it better than the others? That's determination. I'm glad they gave her a pass to this round next year so she could heal.
