I also listen to Panic at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Nickleback, and Hinder. I'm not all "classic rock", ya know.
And yes, I really like the new CD. It's very haunting and dark. The alt rock station I listen to has been playing Call Me When You're Sober for about 4 months. Great tune.

| | Re What's in your CD player? | | All I want For Christmas Is A Real Good Tan, by Kenny Chesney. Ok, so I love that title track, but the other songs on it are good, too. I was surprised at how good some of the stuff is. |

| | Re What's in your CD player? | | They have a good beat and I can dance to them, Dick. I give them a 9.
I feel silly going into Hot Topic (I buy GC's for my niece there) but I secretly am looking at their goods and thinking "how cool". I know the kids working there think I'm just a dowdy old lady, but I'm really not.
Our library actually has some good CDs and I scored a few today. All are in Mario, wating to be played.
Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Ben Folds Five
Cake (uh, not sure which CD...it's yellow. Yellow Cake? I slay me)

| | Re What's in your CD player? | | Not strictly kosher, but -- I bought some speakers for my computer at work (I an a Saturday help line for our online users, among other things) and so now, during the sloooow season, I can at least listen to music.
Yesterday's line up:
Ace of Base -- The Sign
Depeche Mode -- Violator
The Eagles -- The Very Best of (2 CD set -- it's great)
The Tallis Scholars Sing Josquin (that's Josqin des Prez, French Renaissance music -- beautiful)
Morton Feldman -- Rothko Chapel and Why Patterns?
The Best of Corvus Corax (German medieval pop)
English Acoustic Collective -- Ghosts
It was a long afternoon. |

Morton Feldman -- Rothko Chapel | Wow! I googled that, since the name 'Rothko' made my ears perk up. Now I want to hear that, and I want to visit the Rothko Chapel. I love Mark Rothko! Bob, thanks for posting that, it's now a must-have for me. |
