Day Break

Okay, I waited a whole day and no one posted.

Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?

I missed a good portion of the first 1/2 hour, but I was absolutely entranced. (okay, so Taye Diggs with no shirt on was part of it...) Story line was well written, well acted, the concept was bizzare but believable enough, and I can see this continuing on for (12?) weeks until LOST comes back.

Re Day Break

Thirteen weeks total. So twelve more weeks. I want LOST back, but I like having my Wednesday nights too. No Groundhogs Day for me.

Re Day Break

Pseudo-spoiler: epguides.com lists the titles of upcoming episodes.

FWIW, pretty good so far. Groundhog Day with guns.

Re Day Break

Cancelled?

From ABC's web site:
The next episode has not been scheduled yet.

Re Day Break

Yes, cancelled.

Supposedly, they are going to run the rest of the episodes online??

Re Day Break

I just don't get it. Why doesn't ABC just run the last few episodes on-air?

A. It was planned as a 13-show series (essentially a miniseries) anyway.
B. They're just going to broadcast re-runs of other shows in its place.

Networks pull this kind of crap all the time. Is there any logic (AKA monetary reason) to it?

Re Day Break

Seems strange to me too -- if they've already spent the money producing the episodes, why not air them? But maybe they think the reruns will get more viewers and do better with ad revenue.

Re Day Break

Dang it, I saw that it was on this week and figured I'd start watching again. It's on at the same time as The Biggest Loser, which I am hopelessly addicted to, but that's over until January.

Re Day Break

I was enjoying it. It wasn't spectacular, but certainly better than a lot of the stuff they run.

Re Day Break

We were watching it too. I always wonder WHO on Earth the Nielsen families are becuase for the most part, they don't watch what I do.

Also, a hint for the networks: if a SEASON ran NORMALLY and shows STAYED ON A NIGHT we might be able to watch better. I never know when stuff is on!
