Has anyone else read Me & Emma? I finished the audiobook yesterday on the way home, and was just blown away.
I expected a sad ending. It was something you could see a mile away in a time when teachers, neighbors, everybody knew that children were abused but didn't step in and stop it. But, the book packed a hell of a punch.
If you haven't read it, you should. Better yet, listen to it in audiobook format. It was read by a little girl who did a beautiful job.
