Food TV Subliminals

YouTube - Subliminal McDonald's ad on Food Network

Strikes me as pretty low.

Re Food TV Subliminals

I'd be surprised if they are the only people doing it.

Re Food TV Subliminals

Dozens, if not hundreds, of psychological studies over the years have pretty much debunked the efficacy of subliminal advertising.

Re Food TV Subliminals

That McD's ad was easy to see, but maybe that's because I was expecting it.

In any case, MJ is correct. Subliminal advertising doesn't really work.

What does work is doing something that gets your ad out there onto the internet.

Of course, they only need to put a picture of a food up there for people like me to start drooling, despite our better judgment.

I thought subliminal advertising was illegal?
