I loved the pilot. Have taped the second episode but not watched it yet. The Joey Ice Cream interrogation was a hoot.

Hopefully they'll avoid the cousin who's a priest and the ex-cop uncle with a drinking problem stock characters.

I half-watched the pilot while I was working late one night, but about halfway through it became compelling (about the time Jimmy shoots the hostage).

Could be a guy thing.

I'm Irish. I think it sucks. The Sopranos did it first and better, on a network where they had more freedom.

Much like the show whose slot it's in (Studio 60), looks like there's little middle ground. You love it or you hate it.
