| | It's actually funny? I thought from the clips that it looked really stupid.

| | Borat is one of my least favorite movies. Also on the list - Zoolander (I actually lost IQ points on that one) and Dumb and Dumber. |

| | Some parts are painfully disturbing.
Although I must admit, I absolutely love the chicken gag.

| | Ok - it's over.
Parts of it were painfully funny. Others were painful. Overall, I think it was more funny than bad - it pokes fun at us and sometimes the bigotry hurts.
Overall a stupid movie with some (not all) very smart humor. |

| | I liked some of the funny lines (it does indeed point out the bigotry about people from other countries) but there is so much possible with this theme that I was disappointed by the final product. I didn't find any of the visuals funny ... just gross. I could go a whole lifetime without seeing two ugly looking men nude with their butts in each others faces, TYVM. |

| | My favorite part was when he "accidently" knocked over and broke all the Confederate cr*p. There were parts I laughed so hard, others not so funny.

| | There's a lot of very offensive stuff in there. But, it's funny as hell. What makes it so funny is that people in the movie didn't know it was a movie when it was going on.

| | I LOVED the bear!!!
And what Amy said.
If this were a scripted film it would have been awful, but the FACT that these people didn't know at the time makes it very funny. Yeah there is poop humor and there is male butt and lost of other stupid stuff, but the movie screams ugly American and is funny.
I do agree it fizzled as it went on. The beginning was better.
Loved the Chicken. Loved the bear. Loved the women libbers. Couldn't help myself and laughed at the bag of poo at the high society dinner party. Didn't like the male butt 69 part so much.
Loved the, "if I'm ever back in town I would love to Pay to F*ck you" line. |

| | The only part that really made me cringe was the old Jewish couple at the bed and breakfast.

| | Hilarious movie. Many people just plain didn't get it, for which they can be forgiven. It's a reasonably smart film hiding inside a really stupid one. | | |
