| | Well, it's Easter Saturday, so of course, one of the worst movies ever made is on TV. Jeremy loves it though, so we have to watch it. (I seem to remember that in past years, it was always on Easter Sunday night, which is stupid of the networks because it's a Passover story, not an Easter story...but I suppose now it would have to go up against Desparate Housewives and that would be a shame....)
I feel like those robots in Mystery Science 3000....I keep making snarky remarks. My absolutely favorite bad line is during the plagues of Eqypt when the hand of God comes down and kills the first-born, and one of the women claps her hands to her head and cries out "Death is all around us!!!" It cracks me up every year.

| | It's so long that I've never completed it. Tracy had it on last night but I missed the first hour because I was at the restaurant, and was doing book work after that. She didn't complete it either because she fell asleep before it was over. |

| | Wormie - you've never seen it? It's one of the great cultural events of our time! Yul Brenner is fabulous: "Where is your God now, Moses?" I can just hear it in my head. |

| | I don't know if I have ever watched it in one sitting from start to finish. I know I have seen parts of it every year, and over the years have seen the whole thing--but I am not sure if at once. Sadly, I remember when it was newly out and in the theater. I was little and lived in CA. My aunt who live in PA had written to me and said that she would take me to see it whenever we visited PA. We never got back, so she never took me. Funny I remember that!! Anyhow, yes it is a good movie, but long.

| | I rented The Pursuit of Happyness and Stick It(DD's choice). Then we watched The Money Pit and I ordered Outragous Fortune from Amazon.
Today I rented Posidon and Little Miss Sunshine. I loved Posidon(I like disaster movies what can I say?)
Little Miss Sunshine was possibly the weirdest movie I've seen in a long, long time.
I watched The Ten Comandments every year growing up. I'm so done with that movie.
Now if they remade it

I love that line. I use it on the Horsemen all the time. They just roll their eyes. |

| | There are some great lines from the movie, but come on, GREAT movie???? The acting is HORRIBLE!!!
"He's dead."
"Your God is a cheap magician's trick."
"He has seen the Face of God"
etcetera, etcetera, etcetera (oh wait, wrong Yul Brenner movie)

| | Pursuit of Happyness was a great movie. The 10 Commandments had it's moment in its time. But I think because it does come back every year, it is classic. I think it was made in the 60's.
