| | NBC had a new comedy on last night, "Thank God You're Here". It was by far one of the worst shows I have seen in a long time, but sadly for me there was nothing else of any value any better on TV.
So as I sat and crocheted, I watched this really stupid show, and in the last say 6 minutes I laughed harder than I have laughed in many years. It was so funny. The end was so ridiculous, it was funny in a silly sort of way.
Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone else ventured into the sublime of comedy last night with me? It was not my usual type of comedy or TV show, but I did enjoy the end.

| | I saw about half of the first hour, and all of the second one. As I expected, it desended into some icky humor, but the parts that were clean, I was just rolling. I adore Richard Kind, he was just about dying on stage, but it was so funny! And I about split a gut at his Scottish chef that moved to Ireland to "get a better accent".

| | I watched the first one, but fell asleep after Monique in the second. The first had me rolling, especially the end with all four. I thought it was going to be really dumb too, but it ended up being pretty funny. It's nothing I'll make a point to watch every week, but if it's the only thing on and I have nothing better to do, I'll probably tune in.

| | Monique in the second one was really bad in her stand-alone segment, but it got better after that. She actually ended up taking the "lovely plastique" award statue at the end.

| | I didn't see the second one. It was the end of the first one with all 4 of them. When he lifted up "Donut girl" 's skirt and she bent over, I about lost it.

| | Yup, that was pretty funny. I especially liked when "Human Cockroach" kept loosing his antennae - "I can't see!"

| | My hubby came out to see what was so funny. I had just finished complaining about the show, and I was crying. Every time he lost the antenna I lost it too!!!

| | Dan and Jeremy watched the first one. Jeremy was supposed to be doing homework and kept sneaking peeks and laughing. Dan said it was horrible. I came home after choir just in time to see the second one - Dan was Not Happy because it pre-empted The Black Donneley's, but he watched it anyway. Either that or The Bachelor, which is NO WAY IN HELL (me, not him) or David Caruso .
So anyway, it was faintly amusing but I managed to read while watching it. Which meant it was not all that enthralling.
