| | That's my place in line to pick up Harry Potter #7 at the library.
I've raced through the first three already. I'm just starting the fourth.
I LOVE Fred and George.
Nice, intelligent kids fiction. With warmth, and love and all the good stuff.
And I love the idea of using magic as a metaphor for adult-hood.
The boyfriend thinks it'll be January before I see a copy from the library. I'm not so sure, though. The local system has 75 copies of the 6th one. Ah, well, I've waited this long, I'm sure I'll survive.

| | Considering the size of the book, yeah, you're likely to wait a while.
Amazon pre-order here, too.

| | I'll be in line at Wally-World at midnight (well, slightly before, obviously). I just finished Five over the weekend, which took me FOREVER to read (for the third time) and started and am about half-way through Six as well. I had quite a bit of free time to just sit outside and read this weekend, something that VERY rarely happens. It's only my second time on Six, the first being when it very first came out, so it's almost as good as having a brand new HP book because I remember so little, which is unusual for me. I've already told Nick I'll be "busy" the weekend of the 21st, and he snubbed when I told him why that he thought I had a "legitimate" excuse to be lazy. Can you tell he's not a reader? I also told my best friend that she can't have her wedding shower or bachelorette party that weekend b/c I'm "busy."
And now I'm off to get through as much of Six as I can on my lunch break!

| | I bought a book that looks interesting, but haven't had time to read it. It's a debate over whether Snape is good of evil.

| | I just re-read #5 a couple of weeks ago, because I'm hoping we can go see the movie in the theater. (Of course, just like last time, it'll be a debate over whether or not the movie is too icky to see on the big screen, at the ages my kiddos are now.) I'll probably re-read #6 in a couple more weeks to refresh my memory before #7 arrives.
I just hope my Saturday UPS schedule runs earlier than the weekday schedule. I don't get things sent by UPS until around 6:00 PM around here!

| | I usually reread all the books before a new one comes out, but don't have nearly the time to read that I'd like, and probably wouldn't have been able to get through them all by the time I finally got started. I'm content with just doing Five and Six. Cannot wait for Five to come out on the big screen. We saw a preview when we went to see Spiderman 3, and I could have left the theatre happy after seeing just the preview.

| | If you have to wait for more than two weeks, you could come visit me and borrow our copy. I'm thinking that it shouldn't take more than two weeks for both Rick and I to read it. The Dominator's only on #5, so he can probably wait until you're done.

| | Naw, I'm good. The series I'm REALLY excited about has had the last book released this week, busy re-reading THAT series before I'm going to worry about HP.
I realize this is grounds for decapitation in this crowd. I would like to remind you all that I am well protected.
