What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

The only ones I have on my Tivo so far are "So You Think You Can Dance" and Traveler. I may also do that Project Greenlight knock-off.

What's going to be good this year?

Yep. The 4400 and the Closer are coming back also, but I don't watch them.

Re What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

The Closer
4400
Dexter (on DVD, I guess - they haven't announced them yet)
Deadwood Season 3 (on DVD, releases in June)
Sopranos Season 6 pt 2 (DVD, not announced)
The Dead Zone
Traveller
Star Trek Voyager Reruns (my daughters are hooked)
Good Eats
MythBusters
Penn & Teller Bullshit Season... um 4?
Extras Season 1 (DVD)

Possibly:

Rescue Me Season 1 DVD
Big Love, but unlikely. Just doesn't sound like my thing.
Band of Brothers
Kyle XY on DVD (Anyone seen this?)
The Wire (Season 1)

I'm taking suggestions.

I use Netflix to watch a lot of TV. On the exercise bike, lately. I need motivation, which the DVDs provide.

Re What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

The Dead Zone is back starting this Sunday

Big Love is back, started last Monday

Catching up on reruns of The Riches (missed an episode here and there)

Summer no longer marks the dearth of good tv

Re What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

The only thing I really wanted to see on summer TV was Rock Star, and I think they cancelled that.

So I'm enjoying not having any "appointment TV," and getting DVDs from the library:

The Sopranos Season 6 part 1
The Wire Season 2
Battlestar Galactica, from the beginning

Re What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

I don't have cable so no 4400 or Dead Zone.

I guess I'll just have to wait until this season is on DVD and watch it then

Re What Are We Going To Watch This Summer?

Absolutely freaking NOTHING unless I have to. I love my TV shows, but I love summer for not being tied to any shows.
