Given that she has a malignant tumor, I don't think there's much chance ANYONE will be using that kidney - or any other internal organs. Depending on what sort of tumor, I think she can still donate her corneas, but that's about all.
OTOH, she's making a lot of ruckus which might get other people to consider donating.
It's extraordinary to me that the United States can find $700 billion to save Wall Street and the entire G8 can't find $25 billion dollars to save 25,000 children who die every day from preventable diseases.~ Bono
