Donita Sparks is a writer at Firedoglake, one of the political blogs I follow. (They did a lot of great live coverage of the Libby trial.) In another life she was the lead singer of the punk band L7, and she posted about LRS today.

LRS isn't merely awful, they have a brilliant way of being this bad. The reason they sound like this is everyone in the band is wearing closed-ear headphones and they are listening to the original song. They can't hear themselves play or sing - and they can't hear anyone else in the band, either. Laying it over the original videos is just brilliant.
