In just 14 days, we'll have all the answers. In the meantime, how good of a prognosticator are you?

Everybody make your best guesses, and then we'll see who's the best psychic here.

If you haven't finished all 6 of the previous books, skip this because there are spoilers!

1. Is Dumbledore really dead?
2. Which side is Snape really on?
3. What will happen to Draco? (Go back to the Death Eaters, run off on his own, join the Order, other?)

5. Who is going to end up dying before it's all over? (Good or bad - except Voldemort, of course, that's a given!)

Yes - but he will put in an appearance anyway.

2. Which side is Snape really on?

The good guy's side. His evil actions are necessary for good to triumph

3. What will happen to Draco? (Go back to the Death Eaters, run off on his own, join the Order, other?)

I think he's frightened enough to switch sides and repudiate his family

4. Will Hogwarts re-open?

Yes

5. Who is going to end up dying before it's all over? (Good or bad - except Voldemort, of course, that's a given!)

Hagrid, Snape and possibly Neville

6. Will Harry and Ginny get back together?

Yes

7. Will Ron and Hermione stay together?

Yes

8. Will Harry survive til the end of the book?

Yes

9. Is Harry a Horcrux?

No - but his scar is

10: Will Neville's parents regain their sanity?

No

Tie-breakers:

1. Assuming Hogwarts re-opens, will Harry go back to school for his final year, or skip it to go after Voldie?

He'll go back and end up as the permanent Defense agains the Dark Arts Teacher

2. Will Harry fight the final battle alone, or will it be the whole gang? (At least Ron and Hermione, maybe others)

Ultimately is will be a one on one.

I've seen the alleged spoilers (how I hate one of my jobs sometimes... there was no avoiding them in my feeds) so I won't play. They may be totally wrong, but for once, I think the spoilers may be on the money.

I won't play because I haven't read any of the books. I have seen the movies, but haven't been captivated by the books at all. So no spoilers for me until about 2010 when HP#7 comes out in video.

My predictions:

1. Is Dumbledore really dead? Sadly, yes
2. Which side is Snape really on? Good, but he'll have to sacrifice a lot to prove it, maybe even die
3. What will happen to Draco? (Go back to the Death Eaters, run off on his own, join the Order, other?) Run off on his own and barely miss getting caught by the bad guys. I think he'll be redeemed in the end, although not so far as actually joining the good guys.
4. Will Hogwarts re-open? Yes
5. Who is going to end up dying before it's all over? (Good or bad - except Voldemort, of course, that's a given!) Peter Pettigrew and Snape
6. Will Harry and Ginny get back together? Yes, but only at the very, very end
7. Will Ron and Hermione stay together? Yes
8. Will Harry survive til the end of the book? Yes!
9. Is Harry a Horcrux? Nope, and not even just the scar
10: Will Neville's parents regain their sanity? No

Tie-breakers:

1. Assuming Hogwarts re-opens, will Harry go back to school for his final year, or skip it to go after Voldie? Skip it, he's got too much to do, tracking down the rest of the Horcruxes and fighting evil

2. Will Harry fight the final battle alone, or will it be the whole gang? (At least Ron and Hermione, maybe others) It will be the main three, Harry, Ron and Hermione - Harry is made strongest by not only his love of others but the love that others have for him.

I've been hearing for a while that two people die, but according to this, it's more than two. One of J.K.'s other comments is a be ominous too. I can hardly wait!

As for my speculation:

1. Is Dumbledore really dead? Sadly, yes
2. Which side is Snape really on? I'm torn on this, but I like to think he couldn't have fooled Dumbledore for so long, and so must be good
3. What will happen to Draco? (Go back to the Death Eaters, run off on his own, join the Order, other?) I think he'll be too ashamed to go back to the Death Eaters, but may try anyways. I can't remember exactly, but does anybody buy Harry and Snape know Draco didn't kill Dumbledore? I seem to remember everybody else coming up afterwards.
4. Will Hogwarts re-open? Yes
5. Who is going to end up dying before it's all over? (Good or bad - except Voldemort, of course, that's a given!) I really have no idea, and I'm not even positive Voldemort will die in the end, although you've got to hope so.
6. Will Harry and Ginny get back together? probably not, although possibly at the very end if all goes well
7. Will Ron and Hermione stay together? Yes
8. Will Harry survive til the end of the book? I hope so, but I have my doubts
9. Is Harry a Horcrux? I don't think so, but I think it's an intersting theory that his scar might be.
10: Will Neville's parents regain their sanity? No

1. Assuming Hogwarts re-opens, will Harry go back to school for his final year, or skip it to go after Voldie? I think he'll go back for a while or at least stop in if he doesn't go back for good. We can't have a whole book without any Hogwarts

2. Will Harry fight the final battle alone, or will it be the whole gang? (At least Ron and Hermione, maybe others) Definitely not alone, I'm guessing there will be some members of the DA as well as the Order, but I think Harry will be on his own against Voldemort

No, IIRC, the other Death Eaters were right up there with Draco. Snape's the one who came in late. The others stood around taunting Dumbledore and urging Draco to go ahead and get it over with.
