What are you listening to yet again?

I can't find the original thread, but I want something new to listen to. Has anyone found anything new and interesting or an old favourite again?

I just bought a CD by KT Tunstall, Eye To The Telescopeand I just love her! I can't remember the last time I bought an album and liked every song on it, but I love this one. She has a real voice -yay!

What are you guys listening to?

Re What are you listening to yet again?

I've recently started back to listening to country after years away - it's what I grew up on, but I gave it up for pop/rock when I was in high school.

Nothing has really grabbed me yet, though.

Re What are you listening to yet again?

Over The Rhine

Current favorite song by them? Drunkard's Prayer.

Lyrics:

You're my water
You're my wine
You're my whiskey
From time to time

You're the hunger
On my bones
All the nights
I sleep alone

Sweet intoxication
When your words
Wash over me

Whether or not
Your lips move
You speak to me

Like an ocean
Without waves
You're the movement
That I crave

And in that motion
I long to drown
And be lost not to be found
You're my water
You're my wine
You're my whiskey
From time to time

This will play the song at some point, currently Mog is down for service, so give it a bit and the player will work again.

Re What are you listening to yet again?

I typically play Country at work, I like some better than others.

Brad Paisley has a new song:
Quote:

work down at the pizza pit
And I drive and old Hundai
I still live with my mom and dad
I 5'3 and overweight

I'm a Sci-fi fantatic
Mild athsmatic
Never been to 2nd base
But there's a whole nother me
That you need to see
Go check out MySpace

Cause online I'm down in Hollywood
I'm 6'5 and I look damn good
I drive a Mazarati
I'm a black belt in Karate
And I love a good glass of wine

It turns girls on that I'm mysterious
I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
Cause even on a slow day I can have a three way
Chat with two women at one time

I'm so much cooler online
So much cooler online

I get home, I kiss my mom
And she fixes me a snack
I head down to my basement bedroom
And fire up the mac

In real life, the only time I
Ever even been to LA
Was when I got the chance with the marching band
To play tuba in the Rose Parade.

Online I live in Malibu
I posed for Calvin Kline, I've been in GQ
I'm single and I'm rich
And I got a set of six pack abs that'll blow your mind

It turns girls on that I'm mysterious
I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
Cause even on a slow day I can have a three way
Chat with two women at one time

I'm so much cooler online
Yeah I'm cooler online

When you got my kinda stacks, it's hard to get a date
Let alone a real girlfriend
But I grow another foot
And I lose a bunch of weight everytime I log in

Online I'm out in Hollywood
I'm 6'5 and I look damn good
Even on a slow day, I can have a three way
Chat with two women at one time

I'm so much cooler online
Yeah I'm cooler online
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah I'm cooler online
it's almost as good as Ticks

Area 33 (techno), Radio Margaritaville (Buffett, tropical music, etc), 80's, the Vault (lesser known tracks from Classic Rock artists) and Classic Rewind (classic rock hits) on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Re What are you listening to yet again?

Cindy, I agree. I love that album as well.

Listening to: Amy Winehouse (AMAZING album even if she is batshit crazy), The White Stripes, The Shins, Kelly Clarkson's latest which I'm actually liking quite a bit.

Re What are you listening to yet again?

I need to get that Amy Winehouse CD because I keep hearing about it.

My current fav: Elvis Costello, The Delivery Man. I am listening to it over and over and over again. I absolutely love it.
