Re The Screening Room

Just rented Transamerica.
Wow!
It's not what I expected. Funny, touching, poignant. The subject was really very well done and Felicity Huffman was great!

Re The Screening Room

I watched Night at the Museum and Garfield on DVD and laughed myself silly recently. Not that either are "great" movies, but they were fun!

Re The Screening Room

Ok, Eris.

This will be fun because of the movies you listed, I either hated them, loved them, or never heard of them.

The most violent movie I've ever seen, but still great!

Layer Cake was not nearly as good as his other movies, like Snatch.

Re The Screening Room

I liked Snatch, but I liked Layer Cake better. If nothing, Layer Cake had one of the best endings to a movie, ever.

Watched Hollywoodland last night (George Reeves/Superman suicide). Not bad, not great, but we did like it. Really a sad, sad story.

Re The Screening Room

Not a movie, but I wanted to watch the new "Masters of Science Fiction" on ABC Saturday night, and I completely forgot about it! It looks like a really good, quality sci-fi series.

Re The Screening Room

Momento was really good. I liked Fight Club, American Beauty (although weird), Unbreakable, and The Sixth Sense (one of my favorites) too. Not a big fan of A Beautiful Mind though.

Re The Screening Room

I still have never seen Momento and want to. Fight Club, meh. American Beauty was a REALLY weird flick, but then again, most anything with Spacey is.

Speaking of which, K-Pac was very good. So was Butterly Effect (which doesn't have Spacey.)

Re The Screening Room

I still want to see Butterfly Effect. K-pac was alright, I wasn't too impressed. I think I need to watch it again though. Pay It Forward is another good film with Spacey as well.

Re The Screening Room

K-Pac and Butterfly Effect both have alternate endings and you get a completely different take on the movie depending on which one you see.

Re The Screening Room

I know I own K-Pac, but can't remember if I watched the alternate ending. Maybe I'll have to convince Nick we should watch that this week.

Re The Screening Room

Fight Club was too, but not as much so, at least from what I can remember. I saw American Beauty about 2 years ago, but haven't seen Fight Club since it came out. I remember what it's about, but not everything exactly. For some reason American Beauty just struck me as totally odd when I saw it, but I can't remember much of it, so I don't remember exactly why.
