I'm not really sure.
Her "hey-day" was long over by the time I became aware of her. She was always some crazy lady selling dolls on QVC in my mind. My opinion hasn't really changed yet... |

We were watching it too.
Obviously, it was live...one minute she was standing listening to a critique from one of the judges, the next she was laying on the ground. The host (Not Funny Guy who does the stupid video blooper show) sort of freaked out and said "We need to take a break" and you could hear someone saying what sounded like "call 9-1-1".
Long commercial break. Came back, and as Sandy said, they cut to Marie, who said she faints sometimes.
It was pretty scarey. You don't expect to see something like that happen on Dancing with the Stars.

She seemed to be breathing pretty heavily before it occurred (I had Tivoed "Dancing With the Stars" beginning and had heard about the collapse before I saw Marie's dance, so I was looking pretty closely.)
If I were a 40 something year old mother of 7 I think that I would get pretty winded after a workout like that, too. |
