| | Last night we watched Children of Men.
I know Leslie really liked it, Brian thought it was good. I hated it.
It did inspire some laughter though when I suggested my alternate ending.
This thread is for posting your alternate endings to movies. I'll start mine in the next post - I don't think it will ruin the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it, but just in case....... |

| | Re Alternate Ending Thread | | Alternate Ending - Children of Men
Theo and Kee are in the rowboat with the baby.
Kee: Whitney, I think I'll name her Whitney
The boat approaches the buoy - the sailors are preparing to lift Kee and baby Whitney into the boat when they break out in chorus singing:
"I believe the children are the future
teach them well and let them lead the way
show them all the beauty they possess inside........"
Cut to the credits.
I just love a happy ending! |

| | Re Alternate Ending Thread | | This isn't an alternate ending, but in Teen Wolf one of the extras has his wank hanging out. I guess a good alternate would be everyone in the crowd is properly clothed. |

| | Re Alternate Ending Thread | | Blade Runner would have an extra five minutes of exposition added in which somebody explains what the hell was going on in the movie.
OK, ANY movie based on a Phillip K. Dick story should have that. With the exception of Next, since they were nice enough to include it. (See? It's not THAT hard.)

| | Re Alternate Ending Thread | | Good point. Blade Runner is an odd show.
Any ending would have been better than the ending on Far and Away. That was Far and Away the worst ending ever.
I'm just going to list things:
- His soul floated away and the credits started rolling
- Instead of responding to her statement. He kind of floated around a little and then went back to his body
- He didn't float away at all, he just got knocked out, got up and went back to the city in ten years to free the workers. |

I just love a happy ending! | Okay, let's try one for Psycho:
Janet Leigh's character has just been stabbed several times and her blood is running down the drain. She grabs for shower curtain but it comes off in her hand. Her body oozes life as she starts to fall to the cold tile floor.
But then she wakes up!
It was all a dream. She is scared into being honest and so she puts back the money she stole and ends up with the man of her dreams. They honeymoon at the Bates Motel, which is thriving under the ownership of Mrs. Bates and her husband, who never had children. (By choice.) They all live happily ever after.
_____
Warning: Wormie and the other happy ending fans should not read any further.
_____
Or perhaps when Janet Leigh's character wakes up from her dream, she rambles on and on about how she saw all her friends in a house of death run by a guy who thinks he is his mother. Her delusions get her committed to Myra Gulch's asylum for the criminally insane, where she meets another inmate: Norman Bates. |
