I'm actually listening to the audiobook. This gets a thumbs up.

| | Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I don't have much left to read, but I just need to take the time to finish it.
(BTW, if you want a list of ALL the books this group has read, you'd better have a huge file....we're a pretty well-rounded bunch. )

| | I haven't read many books lately, but I have been spending some time reading on the Quackwatch website, as well as the National Council on Health Fraud. Both interesting sources of info. |

Not ONE person noticed my funny. Lynn, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Midnight in the Garden. I watch the movie regularly (picked it up in the $10 bin a while back). Cindy's feelings about Nashville are mine about Savannah. |

Not ONE person noticed my funny. | I noticed EVERY ONE'S funny.
Pippa, reading Midnight has got me all jacked to go back to Savannah and revisit all the old haunts. I really didn't pay attention to which was Mercer House or anything else when we were there last summer because I'd never read the book or seen the film. Now I'd like to see the film too.
The only other thing I've been reading lately are jewelry/lapidary reference books...y'all would probably be bored to get in a discussion about them.

| | I've never read Midnight. Will it make me want to move South? Visiting Nashville has already left me with an insatiable craving for Southern food of all kinds.
Right now I'm reading through all the Sister Fidelma books, about an Irish princess who is a lawyer, a religieuse, and who solves mysteries in medieval Ireland. This is my version of heavily medicating myself. Now if there was just chocolate in the house...
