| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | Cool, Amy, thanks!
It seems to be mostly a mix of what's available on AOLVideo and Hulu, but I did spot a few that I haven't seen anywhere else yet.

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | They also have a movies section, although they've only 6 at the moment - The Jerk, October Sky, Bulworth, Weekend at Bernie's, Master and Commander, and Sideways.

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | Splendid: Alias Smith & Jones.
I'm afraid to watch. I loved the show when I was a kid. Then later I loved the show that Ben Murphy did next, The Gemini Man, about a guy who could turn invisible but only for fifteen minutes at a time. That is, until many years later when I saw an episode on Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and realized that Joel (or maybe the other guy) and the puppets were right: Gemini Man was awful.
It looks like Fancast also has Shannon's Deal, which was created by John Sayles and stars Jamey Sheridan so it can't be bad, no matter what the MST3K crew might say. |

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | For all the Trekkies- they just added almost ALL of the original episodes to Fancast. 77 of the 79 aired episodes, not sure which two are missing.
Although, the thumbnail pictures do not match the titles on a lot of them.

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | I thought they were just clips?
I don't get it. I really don't. I have no desire to tie up my CPU with movies. If the TV is on, I'm usually still reading news. |

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | Nope, they've got lots of full-length movies, now, too. Still have a lot of clips, but now they've added full-length as well.
And silly, surfing is what the laptop is for!

LOTS of shows - some work well, some take forever to load. They also have a lot of Britcoms, PBS shows, and for the uber-geeks, they have the *original* Dr. Who episodes! (DH is going to have a cow! )

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | Hmmm....
If I spend $150 on a really comfy new desk chair, I could get used to watching these... |

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | Another option to the desk chair is to get a mac mini and hook it up to your television. Then, you could watch Hulu and other internet stuff on your television.

| | Re Another Way to Watch TV Online | | We are seriously considering something like that. There's so much garbage on TV these days we rarely watched anything other than PBS even when we had decent reception. I love being able to watch clean, quality shows whenever I want.
