From Hall and Oats play at the Boulder Theater-my SIL got free tickets from a guy at work.
I grew up hearing Hall and Oats, I wouldn't say they were my favorite band, but it was fun. a local band Otis Taylor and his band opened the show-played for about an hour, then John Oats came out-told stories and sang. He had a lot fo fun stories about his songs, he sang a combo of old and new-he flat out refused to play Private Eyes.
can't blame him. He did sing Maneater-and said the idea from that song came from Kelly Labrock(sp?) the woman from Weird Science-walking into a bar. '
We left at 11-he wasn't done but we were exausted-he'd been playing nearly two hours and there was no sign of him slowing down.
Otis Taylor is a local guy-my mom apparently knew him years ago
