OK, I'll admit it. I'm a total sap. But, I fell in love with the movie August Rush. I even bought the soundtrack, which I NEVER do.
I've been poking around a bit and listening to Kaki King's stuff to see if I like anything else she does. (She is the guitar player when August is playing). Thus far, I haven't found anything that makes me want to run out and buy her albums, but I'm still hopeful.
If you haven't seen the movie yet, and don't mind a plot that's more than a bit hokie, you might want to give it a shot. It's family friendly, has some good music, and is a sweet story.
