I never seem to get to READ anymore. I do audiobooks, but few real books. (Although I did read a great book on the Zend PHP Framework. I highly recommend it for some light Sunday reading if you have the inclination )

I do still read, but not nearly as much as I wish I could. It takes forever to slog through a book.
I'm reading Everything is Illuminated now. Great movie and great book!! |

| | Re The I Have Wicked on My Bookshelf But Can't Quite Seem to Actually READ a Book Thr | | I really liked the movie. It's very funny and very serious and I think very well done.
I actually think that having seen the movie is making the book easier to read - it can be difficult at first to follow, but the book has more in it than the movie. I'm enjoying it very much - but VERY slowly. |

| | Re The I Have Wicked on My Bookshelf But Can't Quite Seem to Actually READ a Book Thr | | I have a box of books under my bed, unread sections of the NYTimes going back to April 27, at least three each of Self and Woman's Day magazines in my gym bag, and it's taken me six months to get halfway through a biography of JFK.

| | Re The I Have Wicked on My Bookshelf But Can't Quite Seem to Actually READ a Book Thr | | I have books that I bought when I was pg with the babester to read while on maternity leave. Ha Ha. Hubby always asked when I am going to read them.
But, I am still trying to catch up on my parents/parenting and goodness knows what else for magazines that I have roughly 12 months back issues to review!
Plus, I am trying to read LOMA (for work - industry course work) that I have had since last December. I am not getting very far on any of it!

| | Re The I Have Wicked on My Bookshelf But Can't Quite Seem to Actually READ a Book Thr | | 2 hours each way commute-lots of reading time... right now I'm reading-re-reading rather-the Dell Shannon(Elisabeth Linnington) books, I tore thru the MaryJanice Davidson books and the next one isn't due out until June or July. The newest Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse mystery is out-and if my mother's friend who runs an online bookstore doesn't get back to her soon I'm going to break down and buy it somewhere else...

| | Re The I Have Wicked on My Bookshelf But Can't Quite Seem to Actually READ a Book Thr | | I keep books in my car, at least one in my purse and another in my computer bag. I pull them out when I'm at lunch (eating by myself), stopped for a train or road construction, or anytime else I have a few spare minutes. If I had to wait until I had time to sit down and read, I'd never get to it. So, reading, paying bills, doing my nails, whatever else, gets shoved into the nooks and crannies of my day. I get through about one novel a week this way.
