Re Sex and the City?

I ended up seeing it with Sarah and her friend last night. It was sweet and sad and funny. Probably could have waited for cable, but it was fun to have a girls' night out.

Re Sex and the City?

I just got home a bit ago. We went to an early show. You are right, sweet sad and funny, but I loved it!!!! Afterward we went to Houlihans--I had a "Charlotte" and a "Miranda", and something else, then came home and had 2 Margaritas. Guess I am glad school is out.

I did like the movie. Only two of us had been fans of the show when it was on, and I think you needed to know the show to really appreciate the movie. The other two who were with us liked it, but not like we did. I really did like it. Sappy, and almost predicatable, but it was good.

Re Sex and the City?

We saw it yesterday. Hubby and I went to the movies, ostensibly to see "The Incredible Hulk." When we arrived he surprised me by buying tickets to the chick flick.

I always liked those "Sex and the City" ladies. Even though they were conspicuous consumers with almost no redeeming qualities besides their fierce loyalty to one another, they were funny and witty and New York-y.

I thought this time they were a little over the top. Maybe I'm just getting too old.
