| | I've heard about a lot of adults reading this series. I haven't tried them yet myself.

| | I guess I didn't get too excited because I thought everyone around here was only reading them because the author is LDS and I just can't bear that kind of thing, but it appears it is more than just a local phenomenon.

| | Melanie, that about describes it. Four books in three days. Margo, LOL... aside from the no-sex-until-marriage, you would NEVER know the author was LDS unless you'd read the fan sites. Not that I've done that or anything. Much.
My SISTER actually got me into them. They were tame enough that I let Beanie read te first two, but not the usual teen fare. My sister DOES NOT READ. She didn't even read the Harry Potter books. |

| | I've read her adult novel, Host, and I thought it was excellent. Twilight is on hold at the library. Has been for a month. I think my number in line is down to double digits. I'll let you know when I read it.

| | Heh I only heard about the novels in connection with the upcoming film. I haven't gotten up the interest to reserve any of them at the library. Kinda into the genre (dark fantasy) though. |

| | Heck, maybe I'll have to ask to borrow back that book I gave back without reading.

| | Oh my gosh! I loved them! A woman at work was talking about them, so I went out & bought the first. Done w/ it in two days, eventually got them all finished in a week. Nick hated it! I didn't do much but read for that week.

| | LOL Max... you are still way closer to the demographic than I am. Eris, that's good to know about Host. I was debating reading it and then wasn't sure, since I'm so attached to the vampires. Then again, I made the jump from Anne Rice's vampires to the Mayfair witches. I'll have to check it out. |

| | Oh, do, Pippa, but don't expect a quick read. First, the thing is HUGE. Seriously, you could mug someone with it. Second, I found it a dense read. But completely fascinating.
