| | Signs You Live In A Rock and Roll Household | | While watching the Wizard of Oz with my 8 year old over the Thanksgiving holiday, he came up with this little nugget as Judy Garland launched into Over The Rainbow:
"Hey, she's singing the same song that Me First and The Gimme Gimmes sing!
What are the signs in your house? |

| | For us, it's the collection of hand percussion, guitars, and picks scattered amongst way to many CDs that no longer seem to find their way back onto the rack. |

| | The real rock n roll households are the ones with a full drum set in the basement or the garage--where the band practices.
The stereos in every room...the teens (or pre-teens) that wear headphones while they're doing their homework.
I know that listening to Mozart is supposed to assist the intellect in doing homework, but I can't convince my daughter of this.
We don't always have a rock n' roll house, but we always have a musical house. |

| | Well, we don't have stereos in the bathrooms yet. I'd like a shower cd player though. For now, I either turn the music up loud, or leave the door open. |

| | When we got married and bought a house, we had to distribute the stereos. Four of 'em.
Our 400 CD's are always strewn about the house in some way or another with the most commonly seen ones being Stone Temple Pilots and AC/DC.
There's no country, pop, or classical ANYWHERE. Even our Christmas Music is rock and roll (ever heard of Trans Siberian Orchesta?)
