Stuart Adamson (Big Country) found dead...

Well, it seems that Stuart Adamson of Big County sailed himself off into nothing with a bottle in his hand...

Not cool. I liked Big Country... and I'm sure this guy was a great guy when we wasn't killing himself a bottle at a time.

What is it about the so-called talented and their demons? Why can't Carrot Top have demons and an extensive firearms collection? Why do members of Motley Crue seem to walk away from car crashes that would rate 10 on the Ernie Kovacs Scale? Does it take the self-loathing to make Kurt Cobain a musical force, or can that be controlled somehow without turning him into something as innocuous as Pat Boone?

lynnzop will become famous soon enough

On a somewhat related tangent, I was driving home the other day, jamming to "Fat Bottom Girls" by Queen...listening to Freddy Mercury always make me think "What a waste" that he died so young.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Lynn
(Who doesn't remember Big Country and will have to do some research on what they actually did)

Lynn, I remember their big hit in the early 80's was called In a Big Country.

It went something like

"in a big country world
dreams can come true
like a lover's voice"

or something like that. You are going back to like my 4 of 5 year old memories, so the lyrics maybe wrong. It was really popular on KC101 (pop radio station) when I was a kid.
