Cutting costs? THey paid her $28million! Are they really saying that they couldn't go forward with her without losing $28million?

From what I remember reading about her contract, it is would be far less expensive to pay her the $28 million rather than keep paying her to make records which might not be commercially successful....

Geez. I still am praying for the day when my boss will be so desperate to get rid of me, I'll be paid $28 million to walk.

According to the NY Daily News she got 28 million to walk away and keeps her 21 million signing bonus for a total of 49 million for one album!!! Unbelievable.
