Separated at birth casting calls

Am I the only one who sees Hamid Karzai and thinks that Ben Kingsley should play him in a movie?

Or that Morgan Freeman would be terrific as Frederick Douglass?

Or that Jayne Brooks (Chicago Hope) and Maura Tierney (ER) could play sisters?

Any arguments? Other suggestions?

Every time I see Leelee Sobieski, I think "young Helen Hunt".

Damnit, I had to delete my original reply because Ailsa said exactly what I did ... she was just faster. Hrmm, another off the top of my head would be, and you have to squint a little for this one, Christian Slater as a young Jack Nicholson. Really, squint your eyes just a little and listen to their voices as well as movements.

Fine, I'll keep thinking. :p to Ailsa though!

Shannon ...

Well, Leelee Sobieski/Helen Hunt and Christian Slater/Jack Nicholson are givens. Although, Leelee's face seems to be getting rounder, so it's making the similarity a bit less.

Ooooh... for Soap fans, the chick that plays Lindsay on One Life to Live could be Morgan Fairchild's sister. In fact, for a few years, I thought she was Morgan Fairchild.

Aha, her name is Catherine Hickland.

Huh, I displayed a picture of Morgan Fairchild on here to show the resemblence. It showed up nicely when I first posted it, then it turned into a banner ad for the site I got it from, so I took it down. My appologies, I never intended to advertise for somebody's website.

Oh well, use your memory bank. Picture Morgan. Doesn't Lindsay... er... Catherine look just like her?

Kyra Sedgwick and Julia Roberts (in fact, in one movie--Something to Talk About, they were cast as sisters)
