Holy Flipping Moses... Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison is a Children's lit winner? What the HECK is going on here?
Yeah yeah - Fiction is pretty straight forward... but what the hay is going on in kids lit these days? You guys KNOW what SNOGGING IS? hehe. And what's THONGS have to do with kids books? I thought kids books were all about catchy Seussian phrasology and what not. Has popular degradation reached the kiddie level? YIKES.

I haven't read the book myself, but people whose opinions I trust have said its a wonderful children's book. The title, I'm afraid, might be a little misleading.
There used to be reviews on the book at Epinions. Take a quick look if you have time.
