Hello all,
Are you up for another game of Diplomacy?
What is Diplomacy? Please see the thread Diplomacy to read the introduction to the game.
"another game"? Yep, Game One is still in progress. We have lost our Russian Ice Queen to the combined conquering forces of Austria-Hungary, England, Germany, and Turkey. Poor France is just holding on by the flakes of her croissant crumbs (a good ally could turn that around for her though - nudge, nudge!). If you'd like to see what a game in progress looks like please visit the Diplomacy Game One thread.
Since Game One got underway I have heard that other EA members might be interested in playing in a Game Two. I'll be giving first dibs to those who have already expressed an interest in a second game. If you were not able to join Game One, but would like to join Game Two, or even if you never heard of Game One, but would still like to play, please post your request to play in this thread. I have also heard that some possible players may like to form a team, ie. two people run one Great Power. I think that's a great idea and I will allow that for Game Two.
The schedule for Game Two will be the same as Game One's. eg. moves are due on Tuesdays at 9 PM EST. Once I have enough people to represent the Seven Great Powers I'll get things underway.
So please post here if you'd like to join Game Two. Also, feel free to post any questions you may have about the game.

There is room for seven positions, called "Great Powers":
Austria
England
Germany
France
Italy
Russia
Turkey
So far we have three Great Powers accounted for, so we need four more individuals or four more teams.
It is possible to play with fewer players. The rules provide the guidelines on which Great Powers to eliminate depending on how many players on going to be in the game.
It is more fun (I think) though with all Great Powers taking part in the beginning.
Have anyone else in mind that would like to play? (she asks hopefully)

Well, guys I am usually up for a good game, so I came over to see what this was all about. Sadly, this sounds like too much like Risk and Stratego, two games I abhored when I was growing up, so I think I'll have to take a pass...
