DigitalMass - the Boston.com/Boston Globe technology site - has a game where they post a photograph and take suggested captions from readers. They post the winners on a page and link to a page with some of the other suggestions. I thought it might be fun to play here.

If there's interest I thought I could run it a lot like the balderdash threads run - post a picture, let everyone PM me captions, paste them in for voting once I get five or six, and let people vote for the best one. I'd like to be able to participate as well, but if you'd rather not I understand.
Or if you don't think anonymity is important, people could just post their captions right into the thread rather than PM me. Thoughts?
No points or anything, unless you want to keep track of who has the most captions chosen as the best.

We've done this in the Cafe in the past. People took turns posting pictures and there was a free flow of captions. It was loads of fun. It's certainly worth doing again. Maybe even a bit more organized this time.

Do you want the captions to be anonymous or do you just want to add them to the picture thread?
