PM me your caption for this photograph. When I get 5-6 I'll post them here anonymously and you can vote for your favorites. No voting for your own!
We'll see how the anonymity goes...if people end up feeling it isn't needed we'll just post the captions directly into the thread in the future. I'd rather err in this direction, though.

Okay folks, here are six captions for our lovely photograph #1. Let us know which one you like!
1) "I hope they invent elevators soon"
2) "When you get caught between the moon and New York City..."
3) "While the porte-cochere was under repair, Lady Astor's guests needed to enter Cliveden through the side door."
4) "Tarzan very puzzled, swing and swing, stare and stare. How great ugly dwelling get onto ground in middle of jungle??"
5) "Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a... um, could someone give me a push?"
6) "John didn't quite know what he was getting into when he told the interviewer he was willing to work swing shift."
