Bridgette (whose name I don't ever spell correctly) asked for Scrabble, so found the game I used to play called "Wordox".
It's like scrabble, only there are no double letter or tripple word (etc) tiles.
You can play it here:
http://www.flipside.com/hoyle/wordox.asp
Some things to know:
- you need to sign up first
- you need to have cookies enabled
- putting a letter on a pink square will clear the board
- putting letters on the orange squares give extra points if you are the one to clear the board
Each table has its own rules. For example, the "no S" rule means that you can't just add an "s" to "log" to make "logs". Even if you added "is" onto "log" and you made the words "is" and "logs", you won't get points if this rule is in effect.
There are rooms with different time limits, some require you use a specific number of tiles, etc.
Ok, so ya'll go practice. I think this is a game well-suited for EA, and I think we could have it as a chat sometime if the Mods like the idea, and if people are having fun with the game.
