12/9 Day 2 Virtual Gift exchange

You better watch out.
You better not cry.
You better not pout.
I’m telling you why -
Santa Worm is coming to town!

Delivering gifts,
And spreading delight.
Laughing her butt off
When your guesses aren’t right.
Santa Worm is coming to town.

She sees you when you’re posting.
She knows when you’re on-line.
She knows if you’ve been mean or nice
So please treat each other fine!

Oh, you better spread joy.
You better have fun.
We’ll keep sending presents
Till the gift gaming is done.
Santa Worm is coming to town!
!santa

Re: 12/9 Day 2 Virtual Gift exchange

My second gift indicates that my Santa has read at least one of my reviews, a piece in which I mention not having been able to buy an Alice Cooper album when I was in grade school because the record store in Ipswich was sold out.

_____

For the second day, here's the record which Ipswich was unable to provide:

Re: 12/9 Day 2 Virtual Gift exchange

My new gift is just adorable! Here's a photo, and my poem:

I've heard that you have quite a way with the critters
In fact you're so nice, they never get jitters
So for this next gift, I've tracked down a cute smile
From a squirrel I once knew - I hope it's worthwhile!

Hint: I'm not actually personally acquainted with this squirrel, but I do know someone who is.

Hmm...my Santa is the friend of a friend of this squirrel. Cool!

Re: 12/9 Day 2 Virtual Gift exchange

Someone knows I like flowers

They are lovely and don't make me sneeze at all!

And Wine. :lick:

That would be enough to keep me in stock for quite a while! And the winery that they are from is running a contest:
WIN A CASE OF WINE IN OUR 20TH ANNIVERSARY
“WHINE-ABOUT-WINE” CONTEST!
20 Prize Cases of wine for your Best Chaddsford Winery Story

Hmm. Too bad I've never been there! I do have a guess now, but I'll keep it to myself for a day or two.

Thanks Santa!!!

Lynn

My Santa gave everyone a gift, but especially me. Thanks, Saint Nic--

Now, no peeking! You don't want to find out too early who your Santa is, right?

So you'll have to take my word and not go look. Your present for today is a gift of health, a gift for something you hold dear. I've fired up the Genome @ Home project and am merrily chugging proteins in your name. Or, at least, dedicated to you.

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Re: 12/9 Day 2 Virtual Gift exchange

Monday's gift -- something to soothe the savage beast after a hectic day:
a lovely bowl of chocolates -- but I can't transfer the image here, so you'll just have to imagine it.

Tuesday's gift was a little something to protect me from myself. I'm 0 for 2 on transferring images, but it was an ergonomic keyboard. I gather someone didn't care for the peek at the insides of my wrists.

My Santa not only went digging into my obscure reviews but is an excellent shopper. This stuff's not easy to find!

So, sit back, take off your shoe,
Or moisturize your elbows too!
