| | 12-11, Day 4 Virtual Gift Exchange | | Jeff’s nuts roasting in a flaming soapbox,
Brian hosing down the flames.
JP laughing as he rolls on the floor
Seems to have lost his gall bladder again.
They know that Santa Worm,
Is on her way.
Delivering all the elves gifts
Throughout the day.
And every board member
Who’s in the game
Will be so glad that they decided to play.
Sara making jokes throughout the forums,
TheEye posting all the news,
Lynnzop’s making sure we get exercise
So we don’t get the holiday blues!
For soon the gaming
will be all done
But we’ll have happy memories
Of all the fun.
And if you're still around
A little more
We’ll play the game again in 2004.

| | Re: 12-11, Day 4 Virtual Gift Exchange | | Wormie, you've outdone yourself again. Poor Nat King Cole is rolling over in his grave.
This morning I got some beautiful Christmas ornaments. I like them so much I just set them up as my wallpaper on my PC at work!
And a new quilt for my bed:
Santa said "Something to keep you warm on this frigid winter nights. I hope the colors are ok!!!!"
The colors are perfect, and the Double Wedding Ring pattern is my absolute favorite quilt pattern!!!! And yes, those Iowa nights are getting pretty dang fridgid. I think it was around 10 degrees last night. :brrr:

| | Re: 12-11, Day 4 Virtual Gift Exchange | | My Santa is lots of fun! And the Dominator is especially going to enjoy this gift: Quote:
A Recipe for you to make-with a little help from your kid
Homemade Silly Putty
2 parts white glue
1 part liquid starch
Mix ingredients and let dry until workable. Add more glue or starch if necessary. May not work on humid days. Store in airtight container.
Or perhaps something Really Gross(but kid safe I swear)
or perhaps a few silly facts
| The silly facts are here:
I like these ones: - The Ramses brand condom is named after the great pharoah Ramses II who fathered more than 160 children.
- In 1976, a Los Angeles secretary formally married her 50-pound pet rock.
- The most unsuccessful animal rescue ever, took place on January 14,1978,when volunteers from the British army, filling in for striking firemen, were called by an elderly lady in South London to get her cat out of a tree. They extricated the cat with no difficulty whatsoever, and then ran over it as they drove back to the Fire Station.
- Laughing lowers levels of stress hormones and strengthens the immune system. Six-year-olds laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults only laugh 15 to 100 times a day.
- On average, a 4 year old child asks 437 questions a day. (And I add: that doubles when they turn five.)
- Despite the many rat-infested slums in New York City, rats bite only 311 people in an average year. But 1,519 residents are bitten annually by other New Yorkers.
Thank you, Santa!

There is no doubt I could use a vacation, and no doubt this would be one of the best I have ever taken. It looks simply beautiful, and peaceful.
I thought I had an idea of who my SS is, but now I am stumped. I don't have a clue!!!!!

Your penchant for the cocoa bean
Is something that we all have seen
Those cravings that need satisfying
You really should not be denying
Here is 4 pounds of Godiva
It's okay to drool saliva
And while I'm at it here's ice cream
To maximize your chocolate dream | Whoever my secret santa is, s/he has excellent judgement. I'm just wondering which "cravings" to satisfy first.

| | Re: 12-11, Day 4 Virtual Gift Exchange | | I love my gift! Two of my favourite things rolled into one preent - what's not to like?
Here's the poem:
"Most felines I know just meow
Others, unfortunately, do yowl
This cat earns applause
(With much clapping of paws)
I think she should come take a bow!"
And the super gift:
Now I have no clue as to who my Santa is, but I think I'm in love!

A little holiday treat, probably something you haven't had before: Idaho Spud Bar and other treats...
"The popular Idaho Spud Bar is a wonder combination of a light cocoa flavored marshmallow center drenched with a dark chocolate coating and then sprinkled with coconut (Sorry, no potato!). The potato shape and unique blend of ingredients appeals to both young and old, making the "Idaho Spud" one of the top hundred selling candy bars in the Northwest, and is Idaho Candy Company's best selling bar. The Idaho Spud Bar has been a favorite since it was first manufactured in 1918."
Have a great day
| Now that looks absolutely delicious! Who cares if it is first thing in the morning - I am going to enjoy these now!
