Penguinlady, twas me.  I actually thought about it last night, that, um, ya know, NY is a lot further away from you than AL. But at the time I was thinking in terms of straight-line distance. (Remember, I said, "not quite as far away as Santa Worm"?) Sorry if I confused you!
I had fun shopping for you, hope you enjoyed it all. Thanks for the encyclopedias, I wish I DID have a real set for the kids. And the car, oo la la!. Chocolate?

Melanie, you're embarrasing me! Not only did I guess completely wrong not once but TWICE, but now I also know that I better go look at my atlas. It would never occur to me that AL would be further away than NY!
And thanks for the terrific goodies - I really loved the penguins you sent me on the first day, and that kitty blankie was just perfect!

Aw, Margaret, don't worry about it! And NY probably is further away from you than AL because it's on the diagonal - I was just thinking about straight west-to-east at the time.
Oh, and I knew the car was real - but the Christmas tree goodie is chocolate, isn't it?
