Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

91%.

Ouch. I used to watch far too much TV. I suppose that's why I don't watch now. I'm oversaturated.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

Most of my quizzes are too hard.
This one is easy if you're in the right age group. The youngsters may have a harder time with it, but they watched the reruns on Nick.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

No. That's the only question that I had to guess on. You know my track record on guessing.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

I was actually taught how to guess on multiple choice tests in school. Test experts say, when in doubt, "B".

So, If I have to flat out guess, I go with the second option.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

58% Further proof that I have never liked sitcoms much. There are probably a handful that I've seen more than one complete episode of.

58% I've never seen half of these shows apparently.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

25%
My score is inflated. I only knew one, the other two I got right were guesses. But at least I recognized these shows! I just didn't watch them enough to know the answers.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

Thanks, Wormie. Remembering the shoes/socks argument in All in the Family made me laugh, which is welcome because my 58% score is nothing to smile about. I must have been too busy summarizing Proust to watch television.

But one of your choices has me stumped. Isn't Land of the Lost the Saturday morning TV show about a father who is trapped in a prehistoric world with his son and daughter? If so, how is that a sitcom?

Well, Land of the lost showed up in the Sitcom website that I used for research. I wouldn't have classified it as a sitcom, but if it says so on the web, it must be so.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

Ugh - I took a look at the questions and backed out. The only one I knew was the Family Ties one. The only other show on the quiz that I ever even watched was The Golden Girls. You're right - not my generation of sitcoms.

Cindy

P.S. No cable - so no Nick at Nite.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

58%. And I'll take it as a compliment that I'm too young to have watched a lot of these shows.

Re [Quiz]Sitcoms

I'd love to be able to claim that I am in the wrong age group, but I just ddin't watch a lot of TV, then or now. Until August, when I discovered CSI, my favourite TV show was 'thirtysomething'.
