I have created a quiz for you to take.
This is the link: A Quiz on SEO concepts
Desecription: If you have a website, you have probably tried to make sure it's listed in the search engines. This quiz tests your knowledge of SEO - Search Engine Optimization Quiz Stats
I guessed wrong on Question One. I know that logically it doesn't make sense, but having done searches on Google for items like toys, I find that the sites that do that ARE higher in the page rankings. Maybe they are doing something else as well to mess with the page rankings, but NOTHING drove me more insane at Christmas than looking for that ^Y*&)&% Megazord and hitting FIVE "sites" at the top of the rankings that all led to the same page.

Google and others are starting to punish sites for that sort of stuff. Even EA could have had issues because of multiple link formats leading to the same page from different sections of the board. (That has since been fixed here )
Nicely done btw. I didn't think many of y'all would be interested in this quiz.

LOL. You forget I worked in web development before I was a Mommy. Once place I worked... They advertised themselves as offering SEO services and they did EVERYTHING annoying, unethical, and wrong. Of course, this was the same company where the CEO asked me in a staff meeting if I could find a CRACK for a software package I needed for a client project, so you can imagine the work environment.

Question 1 I took to mean two different URLs at different sites. That would increase the PR and visibility. I guess you wanted it to mean from the same site in this context
You and I are going to have to agree to disagree on Link Exchanges. I believe them to be unethical at best. And Google continues to slam sites with a certain % of external links to text. Link exchanges only work when they're used in context (e.g., a long piece of text with an outbound link)
Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby
Doing them right is really hard. If you and I were to exchange links, we would be okay because of our high content ratio. But what if it ended up getting scraped on to something else? It just seems black hat.
Didja see what I mean about #1 though?
Bug me, and I'll post one two. That was fun. Hell, it's my job, and I missed two.
