Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

Nancy, it wasn't too big of a fight, it was just the fact that I had to do it.

I would call the 800 number I listed in this thread and talk to a representitive. Get their name and the time you called. Say that you've been charged for something that was not delivered, and this is unacceptable. Ask to cxl the order and demand a refund.

If that doesn't work, I'd ask your credit company what to do. Luckily, I didn;t have to go that far.

I think they may be more helpful because of the coupon fiasco.

I called the 800 number and was told I could be refunded the cost of the product minus shipping (which seems to be their big scam). Since I refused to accept that offer, they haven't been very helpful at all. If you read other reviews of the site at other web pages besides epinions, this seems to be a common problem.

I still can't see how they can even attempt to not refund me shipping (it' ok if that's the policy and I return something), but it never shipped so how they can even begin to justify not giving me back all my money for something they shouldn't have charged me for in the first place is crazy.

I called the bank and they are suppose to call me back about it.

Plus, I have a question. I'm sure that once a back-ordered item does not ship within a certain time, aren't you suppose to be given the right to continue waiting or cancel the order? I know with both Chadwicks of Boston, Disney Store and Victoria's secret when I order online and the item is out of stock and doesn't ship by the date they give me, I always get a postcard in the mail asking me to check and box and say if I want to continue waiting or just cancel the order. Maybe that's not a standard practice.

Your order was cancelled and credit back to your card. The reason it

was cancelled because the coupon you used was invalid. The credit will show

oh, do I come off as nice!! As someone once said to me years ago, "you're a great friend, but I'd HATE to have you as an enemy."

if you'd ever heard me yell at my builder and the corporate offices about my new house that leaks you'd be shocked. the fact that I'm tiny and look 16 does give the wrong impression.

I have called them many times and e-mailed them twice a day for the past five days and still NOTHING! Let's just say I yelled as loud as you can while cursing and trying not to let four kids hear you. when I ran out of things to say, I asked my 13 year old for help.

I think you were more successful because they can claim "faulty coupon". What they can claim to me - oh we charged you incorrectly and have no excuse? my bank is getting my money back for me, but again I told them get all of it, don't let them take out the shipping costs.

hopefully by monday this will be resolved.

happy birthday to me!!

against all belief that I would ever my flat hose or a refund, amazingly the hose showed up on my doorstep today. did they ever answer one e-mail I sent them (and by the end of last week I was sending the same not every hour on the hour!!).

they sent no confirmation it shipped, or any apology for the extended delay. in fact I thought this a birhday gift from my friend - the box was less than adequate, the item was not wrapped in anything, it contained no invoice or instructions and the tape job on the box was less than sufficient.

would I ever use this website again? not unless I suffered from amenesia.

as for the flat hose - I need to do some work, but will give it a whirl pretty soon. I just know it won't be worth all the effort I put into getting it.
