Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

Perfume Spot

I am just ordering with them for the first time. I want a horribly expensive perfume, and it's been driving me nuts since Sunday. I finally gave in tonight and placed an order.

I did a price comparison and the perfume spot had the lowest prices on the one I was looking for. I did check Epinions, but I guess I'll have to write the first review when the stuff comes

I also checked Bizrate, and they had outstanding marks.

Anyway, here's the url:

http://store.yahoo.com/theperfumespot/

(PS, their prices, on the perfume I wanted anyway, were lower than Strawberrynet.com, even with shipping, and in the two sizes I looked at they were $20 and $30 less than if I picked it up in my local Filenes)

I will update this when I get my bottle, or I'll write an Epinion. But, so far, I'm excited. I have a new perfume store!

Holy Crikeys!!!

Well, I was reserving judgement until I received my bottle of perfume.

That was yesterday.

This morning my perfume came.

And, yes, I ordered it via regular shipping, not overnight or anything.

Oh, and there were four samples for other perfumes.

I definately have a new perfume store!!!

phoenixx will become famous soon enough

Just remember for the rest of us that have sensitive noses, great senses of smell or any kind of trouble breathing, perfumes aggravate any breathing problem (asthma, emphysema, lung cancer, colds, flu, allergies - even if not to perfume, bronchitis, etc etc). Remember, you wont be the only one wearing perfume, and more than one scent competing for space is even worse than one person wearing perfume. Also, just because you can't smell your scent anymore does not mean no one else can! The best way to put on perfume? Mist a little in front of you when getting ready and walk through the mist - leads to a scent that is light, not overwhelming or rude, and pleasantly enjoyed by all. Then leave the bottle at home - you wont need to reapply until after your next shower, trust me.

Leslie - with her public service announcement for the day, and hoping you'll share the perfume theory with anyone else you know so the new "perfume wearers being considerate of others" movement will take off...

PS - forwarded the info to my mother and sisters - they love the site you found!

pps - addendum to perfume movement - patchouli is ALWAYS A BAD idea.... LOL
