Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

How to get Dell Coupons

I stole this off of a thread on fatwallet. I wouldn't advocate the last idea, because it seems shady to me, but, hopefully this will help someone.

...I kept seeing other people post their savings with Dell Coupons and I had always wondered where everyone was getting them. It took me a while to finally figure out where the coupons were coming from. I wanted to post this to help any new users who were as lost as me. ....

1. Dell emails coupons to customers who have purchased.
2. sign up for email updates at Dell. the box is next to the e-value code boxes on the left hand side. i believe it can take up to a month or so before they send the coupons out.
3. bid for them at eBay auctions
4. request forums or in the for sale/trade threads. you can try begging for one, but it is pretty hard to get. if begging doesn't work, offer to buy them off of people for around 5-10 dollars a coupon. i bought 2 so far and have spent a total of $12 for the coupons, but have saved way more than that. For me, it was worth it.
5. you might want to try calling Dell and ordering also. ive read that the Dell CSR's can give out some great prices. just let them know that you are looking to purchase from them but the only thing holding you back is that you have been waiting for coupon codes to arrive by email because your friends and associates always seem to get coupons. If you don't like the price they give, let them know you will probably wait and order online instead. worth a try.
6. Once a product is received from Dell, I have read some posts where customers call in informing Dell that they overshot their budget and that their spouses are not too happy. The Dell CSR's then discount the purchase in order to entice the customer to hold on to the product instead of returning it.
