What would be a nice (small) gift for a brand new American citizen?

I have a dear friend from church who is Chinese and is becoming an official American citizen on Tuesday morning. Her husband is throwing her a surprise party on Friday, and I would like to get her a little something. Nothing big or fancy, but something meaningful. I thought perhaps a patriotic-type photo frame with the date inscribed, for her to put in a picture of the big day, but I'm not sure. I bet all you smart, thoughtful people can give me some great ideas, though! What do you think would be something nice for such an occasion?

I think the frame sounds like a great idea!

A few years ago a woman that I worked with became a citizen. She studied for a long time and was so excited about it, and I wanted to get her a little something. I found a ceramic candle in red, white and blue. It was just a little something, but she appreciated it. I think anything "American" would be great, but the photo frame enscribed with the date is extra special.

As an added bonus, try to find something red, white, and blue that isn't MIT or MIC unless you really want to go for the irony factor.
