Sigh. I bought a book today. I went with the used but in new condition one. Then I debated whether or not I should buy it.
A few hours later I came back and decided to buy it. Since I had so many Amazon GCs, I decided to buy the new one (because that way I wouldn't pay anything for it).
Then I saw my email. I had three emails from Amazon. Two were regarding the used book that apparently I decided to buy and quickly forgot that I had purchased.
The other was about the same book, only new and full priced that I also decided to purchase.
So, no problem. Go to Amazon. They take days to ship anyway. Shit. I didn't pick super-saver shipping since I wanted the book so bad. That means they don't sit on your order for a week. My order already is "processing".
Ok... go to sdrawer.com to get Amazon's 800 number. Call CS. Explain how stupid I am. "Well, you can refuse the delivery".
"But I want the other things I ordered. Just not the book."
"Well, then you can pay to ship the book back."
Sigh.
Great. So not only did I pay shipping (twice!) but, now I'm also paying for the return.
Sigh. And to think, I was only shopping Amazon because I can't do any real damage there.
Margaret, who has been itching to shop all day long.
