| | I think they were giving away Krispy Kremes in Lansing yesterday. Our first Krispy Kreme opened yesterday and they had to have a police officer out there directing traffic in the morning. At 9:30 last night, cars were still lined up into the street.

| | I remember the opening of one here about 2 years ago.
It was just as nuts as you described, except no police directing traffic!
But, going to the opening was worth it. I tried my first HOT Krispie Kreme donut, and thought it was just melt in your mouth delicious!

| | Where we live, a private school sells Krispy Kremes on Friday mornings--$6 a dozen for glazed, $10 a dozen for variety pack. They go like hotcakes. I think they're overpriced, and who wants to buy them by the dozen? We don't have a KK store in town. When I visited NY, we bought Krispy Kremes one day and I was able to try a Key Lime Crunch donut, and it was very good. |

A police officer at a donut shop. How odd.

| | They are sold in a lot of different stores here. Kroger's grocery store, Sam's Club etc. A lot cheaper too. More like $3.07 a dozen. Yum! | | |
