Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

Important UPDATE if you ordered the Weekly REader books

I'm putting this in a separate post because I was afraid some of you might not revisit the other thread now that you've ordered.

I found the following post on MyCoupons this morning. (Which is where I found out about the WR deal in the first place.

Quote:
I counted 19 books on the website although the site stated 20 books were included. I called the phone number on the website to see if they were including 1 more book. I was told that you might get SOME of the books listed but not all - they chose which books you get. I stated I would therefore like to cancel my order and was asked what website I went to. I gave her the website and was told that anyone placing an order on the weekly reader website with a credit card their order wouldn't go through because weekly reader website doesn't accept credit cards. I told her I put my credit card on there and it gave me my total. She restated that my order wouldn't be processed as you can't order books and pay for them via the website. I have to wait until next week to double check their system. This is ridiculous and doesn't make sense to me!!

UPDATE: Called again as this doesn't make any sense and spoke with someone else. They are going to TRY to cancel my order I placed last night but are not sure if it was sent (my order did in fact go through). You will not receive all the titles listed - they chose the titles but you will receive 20 books.

If y'all wanted those *specific* books or want to check your charges, you'd better give 'em a call. The stie, once again, is: http://www.weeklyreader.com/ecstore/...uctCode=WRB119

Re: Important UPDATE if you ordered the Weekly REader books

For what it's worth, I assumed I wouldn't receive my order either but I did yesterday. They aren't the books shown on the page but they are okay books with a couple of known authors thrown into the mix. 19 not 20 books. I had ordered two sets, one for future grandchildren (I have two kids and both sets are the same. All hard covers.

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
