Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

Selling Paperbacks...

Where have you found the best response for selling paperback books?

I am tired of paying $8.00 for a book, read it once and then sell it back to half-priced book stores for .10 to .20 cents.

(We don't keep these books around just for the fact the hubby reads so quickly that we would have a house full of books, and we cannot have that! - Besides, we don't have a room with the baby and all. All of her stuff is filling up the space that we did have available. )

Re: Selling Paperbacks...

You could trade them on the bookcart. It's a pretty cool paperback trading site.

Re: Selling Paperbacks...

I box 'em up for my women's group's annual huge rummage sale. They sell 'em for $.25 each or 5/$1. I make no money but it gets them out of the house and the money goes for a good cause.

When Hubby and I are in super-cheap mode, we give up buying books (except at aforementioned rummage sale) or go to the library.

Re: Selling Paperbacks...

It seems as though "buying high" is more of your problem than "selling low."

You can buy your paperbacks through half.com or trade through thebookcart.com

You can buy them at garage sales or library sales or used bookstores.

You can get new bestsellers at SAM's Club or overstock.com

You can put books on reserve at the library as soon as they come out.
