New points incentive program from Coke. You can earn everything from little ol' song downloads and movie rentals all the way up to an all expenses paid trip for two to LA for a 3 night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. It looks like a pretty good program if you like to do this sort of thing.

| | Did you guys actually submit codes yet??? FIFTEEN digits each, with number and letter combos, and the kicker? You can't enter more than 10 codes a DAY! G saved a whole bunch up at work and just brought the bag of them home and I can't freaking even enter them all.
Grrr. At that rate, the only folks who would actually be able to redeem the biggie rewards would have to be entering something like 10 12-pack codes a day for the entire promotion. G figured at 3 bottle caps a day, it would take three years to earn the laptop, and the promotion doesn't go that long.

They are the red caps... not the white ones. I'm a little scared of how old the soda they sell down there must be. I think the promotion started in January or February! |

If it's full-out, I like Pepsi better than Coke, but for Diet, Diet Pepsi has a dag nasty after taste. If the choice is between Diet Pepsi and nothing, I'm going with nothing. |

| | I don't drink Diet, but DH does. I like both Coke and Pepsi, but really Pepsi is my favorite. But since I got a bunch of coupons coming my way for free cokes, plus this promo, you better believe I'm drinking coke right now! (When I drink it, LOL, I mostly drink water.)
The special Cokes also have "My Coke Rewards" splashed on the labels, too, Wormie, just look for that.

Just discovered it's not even per DAY; it's per 24-hour period.
I did 10 last night around 8, and went to do another ten, and it locked me out. : Coca-Cola |

| | So, how many points are you up to, Pippa? Got your eye on anything good? I've got a whole 230 points with a few more to go as we gradually open all the Cokes in the house. (I had to use all my coupons by 8/31, so I've got a ton of unopened 2-liter bottles scattered everywhere, LOL.)

| | I drink a lot of Coke Zero and Diet Coke Cherry. I've entered a few codes. I am unimpressed with this program.
Not only is it a pain to enter the codes (ditto Pippa's complaints) but if I took advantage of th emusic downloads i'd have to install propietary music players that don't work with my iPod.
Thumbs down from me.

I have a few entered, but really nothing in the prize category appeals to me either.

| | 12/31 is the deadline. I'm just going to keep entering until close to the end and see what I can get. If I end up not using some points it won't hurt me because I got all the cokes free, it's not like I'm buying them *just* to get the points.

| | For those who don't know, Coke has extended this promo to a pretty much permanent thing. I think they even chopped down the codes a little bit, although I've found lately are still the 15-character ones.
They're also running a "Pirates" promo right now - play the Pirates game, get 10 points. If you click on the "free treasure" button, it gives you a code to get your choice of a free "Pirates" item like a ringtone, wallpaper, book chapter or music download.
